Floral Opera captures flowers at their most extravagant. Generous blooms unfold in layers of curling petals, accompanied by sweeping leaves and slender, bending stems. There is something almost theatrical about their movement, each flower opening with the flourish of an elaborate costume.
Fine, engraving-like lines trace the petals, following every fold and curve to create richly sculpted forms. Dotted centres and delicate decorative accents punctuate the flowing shapes, while tightly gathered buds sit alongside fully opened flowers. These small details bring definition and intricacy to the sumptuous compositions.
Across five designs, the flowers take on different arrangements while sharing the same expressive botanical language. Echoes of Art Nouveau appear in the sinuous foliage and ornamental drawing, giving Floral Opera a romantic character with a bold, graphic presence.
